Software to Assist Virtual Sales

One of the best ways to build and maintain trust with a new client or prospect is to include them in the shopping and enrollment process. Using screen sharing software allows you to accomplish this over the phone just like you are face-to-face. Some free and easy to use programs include join.me and Zoom.

Keep in mind, when working virtually or remotely, you are still required to complete a full, compliant presentation before any Medicare sale. Facetime and Google platforms are NOT compliant with HIPAA guidelines. You should unplug any smart devices (i.e. Alexa, Echo Dot, Google, smart TVs, etc.) in the room in which you are working to avoid a data security breach.

With the recent security breaches reported by Zoom, we recommend you take the extra steps of adding a password and approving participant’s entry into your Zoom meetings. If you’d rather steer clear of Zoom, below is an article that talks about 10 alternative platforms to consider.
